Jeffrey Wang is an entrepreneur and full-stack software engineer who founded and owns his own business.
Jeffrey founded an online business, MyWikis, when he was 11 and continues to operate it very successfully even today. In June 2018, the Denton Record-Chronicle interviewed him about his entrepreneurial pursuits. Later in the year, The Daily Texan also interviewed him about his experiences. He attributes many parts of his computer science knowledge to his business.
As of 2022, Jeffrey is a software engineer at Microsoft.
In May 2018, Jeffrey graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS), a prestigious early college program at the University of North Texas (UNT) for the brightest STEM minds in Texas. Before attending TAMS, he attended McKinney Boyd High School, where he led the initiative to redesign the school website. In the summer of 2017, while attending TAMS, he conducted research in accessible computer science education at UNT with a tenured professor.
In his free time, Jeffrey enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and planning the next Transit Trek.
Apart from speaking English, he has also spoken Mandarin Chinese since he was young. He learned four years of French in high school and one year of Hindi in college. He continues to be passionate about learning different languages and cultures. One of Jeffrey's dreams is to travel to different parts of Europe and Asia someday, and it helps he's passionate about all kinds of maps as well as transportation and travel in general.
